As a member of the BSR HERproject team, Lauren supports implementation of the farm program in East Africa. She facilitates partnerships with multinational retailers, farm suppliers, and local NGOs for program expansion in Kenya and Ethiopia.
Previously, Lauren worked at the Social Science Research Council in New York, where she contributed to interdisciplinary research projects on migration, development, and human rights. With experience in agricultural value chains, Lauren has conducted fieldwork on fruit and vegetable production and food security in Vietnam, which she presented to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Lauren’s consulting experience includes an analysis of best practices in monitoring and evaluation for the Center for Socio-Economic Development and recommendations on the post-2015 Millennium Development Goals agenda for the United Nations Development Program.
Lauren holds an M.A. in Public Affairs from Sciences Po and a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University.
